The routine can get changed depending on the needs of our children. The routine is flexible with timings
Here at Caterpillar Club House we help children with learning that routines can help with everyday by keeping our daily routines in place, such as, putting bags away, washing hands before meals, emptying own plates and washing faces, rest/sleep time and more.
A routine helps children in their settling in period when they can be a little unsure of their new learning environment – creating predictability and comfort to them.
We encourage and support children to help them become independent little people and this also helps with their School Readiness journey with us. The feeling of accomplishment and pride is something that comes with being able to do some of these tasks on their own or with only minimal help.
We will create a routine for your child. It will provide them with a sense of security. Plus, it will establish normality, which will help the child to achieve self-help and learning goals. Starting somewhere new can take time and settling in can differ from one child to another but with consistency and persistence all children settle into the routine and start to thrive in our environment.
